We are hiring an Area Coordinator!
Are you a natural connector who loves being out in the community, meeting local business owners, and creating meaningful relationships?

Neighbourhood Welcome is looking for a community-driven Area Coordinator who is ready to take initiative, build local partnerships, and help newcomers feel truly at home. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys flexibility, independence, and making a positive impact, while having control over their own income and schedule. If you’re an enthusiastic, community-minded individual with a passion for creating connections, we’d love to hear from you!

The Area Coordinators role as an independent contractor is to connect the new residents to their new local community by presenting them with a welcome package, which includes information about local and community services. In partnership together with local businesses, the Area Coordinators share information about their services, to showcase to the new residents the benefits of shopping local in the community, and what the community has to experience.

The Area Coordinator puts together the welcome packages, and provides a person to person delivery and greeting. Every Area Coordinator is responsible to collect, manage, and deliver items collected from partners and other community services, as well as gaining new partnerships with businesses in the community.

Reliable transportation
Living within area
Access to computer and printer
Attendance of weekly zoom meetings on Tuesdays & Thursdays
Commission pay & bonus' $1,000 - $3,000 per month on average
Unlimited earning potential (No Cap)

Well Hello Fort Sask! 🍂

After a few days off with the cold bug, I’m feeling better and heading out to explore our gorgeous river valley trails! It’s definitely sweater weather, and I can’t wait to get outside and enjoy the fall colours.

I’m excited to be joining the Fort Saskatchewan Farmers’ Market this Thursday, September 24 from 4–7 PM at the CN Station Lot by Legacy Park and it’s the FINAL market of the summer season!

There’ll be local vendors, fresh produce, homemade and handcrafted goodies, food trucks, live entertainment and lots of great people from our community.

Have you explored the Fort Heritage Precinct yet?

One of the things I’m enjoying about getting to know Fort Saskatchewan is discovering how much history is tucked right into our community.

The Fort Heritage Precinct is home to a reconstructed 1875 North-West Mounted Police Fort, an early-1900s historic village and exhibits that tell the stories of the people who helped shape this area.

Right now, Hear Our Voices: Michel People & Residential Schools is also on display through September 30. The exhibition shares personal testimonies and historical information from members of the Michel Band who attended residential schools. Admission is free.

If you’re new to Fort Sask, this is definitely one of those places worth discovering.
