Local business owners are being bombarded...

📞 RING RING
"Hi, this is Jason from 'Google Listing Services'. Your business isn't being found online! Press 1 to activate your listing..."

👀 If you're a local business owner, you already know... this is call #47 just today.

We're bombarded daily with spammy calls claiming our listings are "invisible" or "about to disappear." Newsflash: These aren't Google. They're aggressive telemarketers trying to sell fear, not solutions.

✅ Already have a Google Business Profile? Great.
✅ Want to actually improve your visibility? Focus on real SEO, quality content, and community engagement — not robo-pitches.

📣 To all the hardworking business owners: You’re not alone. Let’s keep calling out the noise and staying smart with our marketing.

💡TIP: When you answer after their initial "spiel" just ask this: Can you give me your business phone and address? Guaranteed CLICK and their gone (till next time at least).🤣

To all my BC friends/family...
I was just on the phone for a very INTERESTING call.
It was from "James" (with a heavy accent) calling from 1-250-368-8485 who said he was with BC Hydro and that there was a disconnection notice for my business (Greymouse Web Design & Local Marketing Services) slated for 1 hour from now. Of course, I could call "BC Hydro" at this 1-800-260-7207 number to cancel the disconnection.

The joke is... my biz doesn't have a BC Hydro account... LOL. 😁

PLEASE do not fall for this garbage, be alert, be cautious, be aware!

This is a bit disturbing... Double CHECK those passwords people (website, Social, Email, etc...)

Modern day security measures are a good way to keep things in check, but if someone really wants to get into your accounts, this is how long it'd take them based on your password.
