It's been a busy summer to fall transition! A new job, and working to finish this commission of a beautiful Canine bestie kept me busy. 🖌️🎨

Working to make white fur look white with all of the shadows the light and musculature presented a challenge I was happy to take on. 😍

Another paint event this week for those interested!

Join me on this Wednesday, August 7 from 1-4pm at Finn’s Pub for a Moonlight Lakeside Landscape painting!

I will be guiding you through a beautiful watercolour painting of a moonlit lakeside reflection watercolour painting.

All supplies will be provided, along with a printed step-by-step guide to take home, some paint samples of the colours we will be using, and 5x5 inch sample piece of watercolour paper.

$40 per person

Be sure to call or go into the Pub by Tuesday at noon to reserve your spot!

What a fun evening!

Painting lavender en plein air at a lavender farm. Thank you to all who came to paint, you all created beautiful pieces, and should be so proud of your work!

I want to give a very special thank you to Bonnie at Woodland North 62 Lavender Farm for hosting our event. Your lavender drink and lavender bread with butter was delicious!

Just a friendly reminder about these dates happening at Woodland North 62 Lavender Farm this coming Sunday July 21 and the following Thursday July 25, from 4-6.

As added bonus, I'll be sending you home with a step-by-step instructional guide of what we are doing, paint samples of the colours we are using, and a small sheet of watercolour paper so that you can experiment at home with watercolours.

Do you want to explore some painting techniques and sample some delicious lavender goods from Woodland North 62 Lavender Farm? Come with us on July 21 and 25 from 4-6pm, where you will get to enjoy a refreshing Lavender Beverage, Lavender Butterboard, and cake, all while learning to paint a beautiful little bit of lavender to call your very own!

I will be guiding everyone step by step and providing all of the materials needed to create a finished 7x9 inch Loose Style Lavender watercolour painting. This will be an in-person event.

I'm absolutely obsessed with making these tiny flower paintings lately! Practicing for some video lessons that will soon be available on my YouTube page and offered at upcoming in-person events. I always try to grab photo references to work from too whenever I'm out and about.
