"But I took this as a challenge and wanted to prove them all wrong. As time progressed, I found a true passion for the industry with the many personalities and opportunities that have been presented."

Laura's journey is a testament to the power of determination and resilience in overcoming barriers. Laura is deeply committed to safety through our Safety without Compromise safety program. She lives and promotes safety as a core value. Her dedication to fostering a culture of safety at FLINT exemplifies her commitment to the well-being of her team and the success of the projects she oversees.

Recognized by her manager for her exceptional leadership qualities, Laura has been entrusted with overseeing day-to-day operations. She has also been given the opportunity to support her own personal learning and development to progress her career and knowledge through back-up manager coverage.

Laura actively supports talent development initiatives, including FLINT's Emerald Career program. This program provides aspiring Heavy Equipment Operators with the opportunity to kickstart their careers in construction—a cause close to Laura's heart.
