🫶🏾 THANK YOU to everyone who showed up for us one last time for our One Last Creative Networking Mixer on Thursday night. 🫶🏾

We are still processing the evening and all the support and congratulations from our community we recieved. We spent the night celebrating our success over the last three years in our studio space, talking about each other’s creative projects, and reminiscing about the memorable times we shared here.

We also heard from Aaron at The Blue Building Project, another space intentionally built to support arts and culture in our community, and they announced they plan to offer a networking opportunity for creatives, starting with their first event on November 12; follow them for details! We are happy to pass that torch to another local business that aligns with our values and is willing to create space for creative entrepreneurs.

Our last day we will accept studio bookings is Nov 22, 2026, so we have time to vacate the space during our final week with the keys. However, we won’t be taking last-minute bookings as we have in the past, so please book no later than Nov. 7, as studio availability will start to dwindle then as we focus on continuing to operate our marketing agency, M3M Marketing.

Don't forget! Our final Creative Networking Mixer is on October 8!

After bringing creatives and businesses together through our quarterly mixers, we’re wrapping it up with one final evening of connection and community.
Join us from 7–9 PM at M3M Studios to meet fellow creatives, connect with members of the broader business community, exchange ideas, and celebrate the incredible creative community we have here in Grande Prairie.

As part of the evening, we’ll be joined by The Blue Building Project, who will share more about their vision for creating a downtown gathering space where local businesses, artists, makers, events, and people come together under one roof.

The Blue Building is home to a curated mix of local shops, artists, makers, and entrepreneurs, along with flexible, bookable spaces designed for workshops, performances, meetings, celebrations, and community events. With a focus on supporting the people behind the ideas, businesses, art, and events that shape our region, The Blue Building Project is creating new opportunities for creative collaboration and community connection in Grande Prairie. We’re excited to have them join us and share how their space can support Grande Prairie's creative community.

IMPORTANT M3M STUDIOS ANNOUNCEMENT:

It was only 3 years ago, almost to the day, that we opened M3M Studios, Grande Prairie’s Content Studio. We are incredibly proud of all we have accomplished with our content studio, but we have decided that, as of November 30, M3M Marketing will no longer operate M3M Studios.

For the last three years, this space has been home to photo shoots, productions, podcasts, music videos, launch events, youth programs, creative networking mixers, and so much more.

We set out to create an accessible, professional space that supports Grande Prairie’s creative and business communities, and we’re incredibly proud of what we've built here.

But as M3M Studios grew, so did M3M Marketing. And over the last few years, it’s become pretty clear where much of our growth and opportunity is coming from. We know it’s time to put more of our focus there, giving our team the flexibility to use our resources where they’ll have the most impact and to take opportunities wherever they take us.

This next chapter is about getting back to our roots, becoming a bit more nimble, meeting our clients where they are and focusing our time and resources on helping local businesses and organizations make their ideas happen.

And to be clear: M3M Marketing isn’t going anywhere. We’re excited about where our marketing agency is headed and will have much more to share soon.

As for the studio, we’d love to see someone else take this opportunity, whether it continues as a content studio or another business can use this space. If you see an opportunity in this space, let’s talk.

Did you know we have Grande Prairie's only rent-by-the-hour Cyclorama Wall?

It is so fun to work with!

The Cyclorama Wall was designed for the creative community to access for photoshoots, videography, and special events (it works great for projecting presentations or playing videos), so they don't have to invest in a long-term lease for their own studio space. It's designed to be shared to support the growth of the creative industry in the region.

🤔 If M3M had content creation and photography kits for rent outside of the studio would this be something that would be useful to creatives and businesses to rent so they don’t have to invest a into the tools and equipment, and get support in operating the equipment and set up?

Here are some examples of what we have dreamt up for concepts:

Kit # 1 Portable Photography Backdrop Kit
It would include a paper backdrop colour in stock, the portable backdrop stand and sandbags.

Kit # 2 Podcast Kit
The kit would include up to 4 microphones and headphones, an audio recording device, mic stands and XLR cables. Lights could be rented for a video podcast for an additional cost.

Kit #3 VoiceOver Kit
The kit would include a microphone, headphones, XLR, an audio recording device and some sound treatment materials. If you are needing to do a quality recording and want to do it in your own space for voiceovers, recording an audiobook or podcast, etc.

Kit #4 On The Go Content Creation Kit
This kit would include 2 small handheld microphones, microphone handle, lav attachment, phone attachments, phone tripod.

With all these kits you would also be able to ask M3M about how to operate the devices before you rent the equipment and access additional production help like set up and a service of fully recording and editing your content for you.

Congratulations to the Generations Readers Theatre Grande Prairie on a successful launch tonight at our studio!

Their new presentation blends in-person performance and video media to teach people about local history, support the preservation of history and foster intergenerational conversations.

Thank you for choosing our studio to launch this presentation to your community. Your group invested a lot of time and energy into it, and it was exciting to see it come to life.
