Some websites preserve a business story. Others preserve a community’s history.

We are proud to share the launch of the new website for GP Hockey Legends.

The project grew from a simple question asked by Grande Prairie hockey legend Max Henning: “What can be done with this?” That question helped spark an effort to capture, preserve, and share the people, stories, photographs, and history that have shaped hockey in Grande Prairie.

Today, the GP Hockey Legends website serves as the project’s virtual home, bringing together biographies, historical research, stories, photographs, and records that help preserve that history for future generations.

We loved helping create a site that gives all of that history a place to live, while making it easier for visitors to explore the legends, stories, and milestones that helped shape hockey in our community.

If you have ever wondered how many different hats one person can wear in a creative role, Diana gives us a pretty good answer.

As Nine10’s Graphic Designer and Print Specialist, Diana moves between brand design, print coordination, layout, visual problem-solving, and all of the details that help turn an idea into something polished and ready to use.

She brings a vibrant creative approach to her work, with inspiration drawn from the colour and energy of Colombia, while continuing to explore new ideas and grow her skills in branding and design.

What we appreciate most is how much thought she puts into the work behind the scenes. There is always a reason for the choices she makes, and she has a great way of explaining how those choices support the brand as a whole.

We are very lucky to have her creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail on the team.

Sometimes a brand refresh starts with a logo. Sometimes it starts with a much bigger question: how should this organization feel when people see it?

The Grande Prairie & District Education Foundation came to Nine10 with an existing logo and an opportunity to build a stronger, more complete brand.

The new identity needed to feel warm, friendly, and youthful while also reflecting their three pillars: Nourished, Empowered, and Inspired.

We began by developing three creative logo concepts, then refined the direction they selected. From there, we created two moodboard options to explore the look and feel of the brand before moving into the final storyboard and complete set of brand assets.

What we love about this process is how each stage builds on the one before it. The logo creates the foundation, the moodboard establishes the visual direction, and the final assets give the team practical tools they can actually use.

The result is a brand that feels cohesive, intentional, and ready to grow with the organization.
