Did you know that Doug and Cathy met at summer camp? It was love at first ‘Smore! We know, cute, right?
Their days as camp leaders instilled in them the power of kindness, creativity, play and teamwork that have guided our company for almost 25 years. Can you sort the “then” photo and the “now” one? Summer camp provides opportunities for kids to discover new interests, learn teamwork, build social skills, and increase their self-esteem. Camp provides kids with a break from digital distractions and other daily stresses, too. It’s an incredible opportunity for any child, and we know that many kids can’t afford to go. That’s where comes in. Last year, their Free to Grow program funded over 350 kids to attend summer camp.
On average, through the Children’s Foundation, it costs $200 to send one child to camp for a week. We think that’s a bargain and we’re happy to be able to help kids get this amazing experience that changed Doug and Cathy’s lives forever.
