Life has a way of taking twists and turns, sometimes taking us to places far beyond what we imagine, sometimes holding us back from what we thought we could achieve.

I've had another long winter to consider how much photography I would be able to take on over the next warm season and the short answer is none. I have struggled since last fall to find a balance between work (I am a work-from-home Medical Transcriptionist), family, and my ongoing battle with weight loss. Since I still can't seem to keep a healthy balance with these three on a regular basis, I believe it would be rather foolish of me to attempt to add more to my plate.

I hope to someday make it back into the Family Portrait Photographer scene, probably not until I am out of the stage of having babies and only small children around, but for now, I say thank you to the many wonderful clients I've had the privilege of working with.

If you were hoping to book with me this year and would like information for a different photographer, please feel free to get in touch with me and I can most definitely point you in the direction of one.

Well folks, I've booked in all I can handle for this fall. Thanks for your continued support. I am hoping by next summer/fall I'll be able to take on more clients again. One of these days I will hopefully find the time to post a sampling of my 2013 works. Prices will remain the same as they are for the coming year/s as I wish to remain an affordable family photographer.

I cannot believe how fast this summer is going by. Only 1 more spot available for end of August, 2 in each of September and October - after that I'll be "closed" until Spring again.

June is booked! That leaves just 10 regular sessions available from May through October. I am going to revise that I will only be doing 2 regular sessions per month, but will accept an extra 1 or 2 "Budget" sessions per month. See pricing on my website for the difference in regular sessions and budget sessions.
