A mid-week curve ball? We’re in! ⚾💙

When our media team found a last-minute opportunity for to show up at Blue Jays game this weekend, we knew we wanted to knock it out of the park.

48 hours and 3 creative versions later, Jay’s fans were treated to baseball puns and postcard-perfect views of Halifax (and were hopefully trip planning between innings!).

That’s what we call a home run.

At Halifax Distilling Co., JD Shore Spirits is more than just rum — it’s a celebration of craft, community, and inclusion. Founded by life partners Julie and Arla, we carry forward Nova Scotia’s rich rum-running history, blending fine Caribbean rum with our own locally distilled spirits, made in our custom-built copper still in downtown Halifax.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈🎈🥂At Trampoline, we’re celebrating by shining a spotlight on businesses owned by members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

This week, we’re kicking things off with The Floatation Centre, a wellness space located in Halifax’s North End.

For the past 10 years, The Floatation Centre has been creating a safe, cozy space rooted in care, curiosity, and inclusion. Their mission? To make every person who walks through their doors feel supported and seen.

Owner Lindsay MacPhee brings warmth, humour, and full-hearted openness to the space. A proud q***r human and all-around ray of light, she loves fostering a community where people can just show up as their whole selves.

Outside the tank, you’ll find Lindsay scooping up joy at Dee Dee’s Ice Cream (which she co-owns with her pal Jenna), plotting big things for gardening season, and hanging with her loyal shadow and TFC’s honorary employee of the month, Pearl.
