Including their specific balloons in the logo was such a good instinct from the client. Every time somebody sees their balloons in flight, it reinforces the brand, growing their brand awareness. Who can resist watching a hot air balloon when you see one?!

Last year I worked with to design a new brand identity ahead of a new season of their unique guided tours of Halifax, Nova Scotia. In addition to the new visual identity, we designed an updated website for booking and information. This update included new map graphics illustrating the tour routes, site structure to improve booking conversion and additional brand assets to communicate the positive and fun experience they provide.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to work with Aurora Cannabis to design graphics illustrating their brand purpose and values statements. Since then, Aurora had developed a corporate brand refresh and updated their visual language. As part of the launch of that refresh, they reached out to me again to create a new set of graphics to support the brand values.

Big Sipper redesign for .coffee

We realized the characters on these labels (know affectionately as “little guys”) are just too much fun to have a label without one. So we got to work redesigning the Big Sipper label, complete with a little guy.

True to the company name, I have so much fun every time I get to make one of these labels. 🛸🪐👽

I really love the design aesthetic of classic workwear and hardware brands. I’ve been wanting to do something in this space for a while and Harbour Construction gave me the perfect opportunity when they came to me for a logo design and some branded merch for their employees.

The goal was to create a line of clothing that their employees would be excited to wear both on and off the job site.

I got to work with a ton of nice typography and simple, strong icons to pull this all together.

I won a silver Ice Award in design for my packaging work with .coffee. Was honoured to also receive a merit recognition in Illustration for my work on the Halifax Transit electric bus.

What a cool project, highlighting the history of air travel in Bible Hill. I learned a lot while putting this one together. There were planes taking off from this airfield as recently as 1957. ✈️
