🚨 UPDATE: THE MISSING BACK-TO-SCHOOL SIGNS HAVE BEEN LOCATED!

Good news, Binbrook! Our missing Fairy Yard Mothers back-to-school signs have been found 🎉

Turns out they weren’t stolen, kidnapped, or off having some wild first-day-of-school adventure...

They are currently safe and sound in the custody of the City of Hamilton after being erected on City property without the proper permission...

Whoops.

We were just trying to add a little fun to the first week back to school and give local families a cute spot to grab those first-day photos.

Our hearts were in the right place... our signs, however, were apparently not 😂

Thanks to everyone who messaged us, kept an eye out, shared our post and helped solve The Great Back-to-School Sign Caper of 2026.

Case closed. Signs located. Fairy Yard Mothers mildly educated 📚

(No need to comment or complain about the city, don't want this to spiral into negativity, they were just doing their duty, which was a bummer for us, let's stay on the bright side)

Fairy Yard Mothers has TWO Back to School photo displays set up around town:

📍 Fall Fair Way outside the Fairgrounds (Splash Pad) Park
📍 Windwood Ave between St. Matt’s School and Laidman Park

The displays will be up until after dark Wednesday night, so stop by with the kiddos, snap those back-to-school photos and make a little first-week memory!
