As we start into a new week, I wanted to take a moment to jump on here to share my thoughts on something that has been at the forefront of my mind lately.
It has come up in conversation with a few clients over the last month and has been a part of my reflections as I work towards new opportunities for us as an agency.
In many ways, moving out of my busy inboxes to be here on socials (and our soon-to-be website) feels like I am starting from scratch with CICADA.
The connections I have made for the agency so far have been intimate and direct. I have built a foundation through trust and referrals that continuously presents new opportunities for us.
Sounds like a dream.. right? Well, there's also the other side to it where I see a huge gap in our online presence. I fear that where I have chosen to put focus has put us behind or inhibited us in many ways since it's 'not the RIGHT way to do things'
At the same time, I am constantly reminding myself that this business wouldn't exist without those authentic connections. My commitment to compassion and spending time connecting with individuals directly has resulted in better understanding, stronger relationships, and continuous results.
Just as I need to reframe my thinking and recognize the benefits of staying true to myself while building CICADA, I encourage you to stay mindful of the unique aspects of your business journey.
At the end of it all, your journey to success will always be unique because no one is quite like you.
This is a reminder to let your perspectives, experience, creativity, and personality be a guide and shine through all that you do.
I encourage you to move towards your goals with intention while staying authentic to you - even if progress doesn't happen the same way as it does for everyone else.
Trust not only the process but the value you bring by showing up exactly as who you are every day.
