How to show love to your partner.
According to Dr Gary Chapman (feb,2023 editorial) there are 5 ways of receiving and giving love. But Neither of them is right or wrong. However it is only after knowing yourself and your partner’s love language that you one can have a happy life together.
Search in Google the 5 love languages. If you still have time to read a story, let me share your this:
Once upon a time, there was a couple named Sarah and Mark who had been dating for several months. They were deeply in love with each other, but they soon realized that they had different ways of expressing and receiving love.
Sarah's primary love language was words of affirmation. She loved hearing compliments and kind words from Mark, and she felt most loved when he would tell her how much he appreciated her and all the wonderful things she did for him.
Mark's primary love language, on the other hand, was physical touch. He loved holding hands, hugging, and kissing Sarah, and he felt most loved when they were physically close to each other.
At first, Sarah and Mark didn't realize how different their love languages were. They thought that the way they expressed their love was enough to make the other person feel loved. But as time went on, they started to feel unfulfilled and frustrated in their relationship.
Sarah often felt like Mark didn't appreciate her enough, and Mark felt like Sarah was always distant and cold. They knew they loved each other, but they couldn't seem to communicate that love in a way that the other person could understand and appreciate.
One day, Sarah stumbled upon a book about the five love languages, and she immediately recognized that they had been speaking different love languages. She shared the book with Mark, and together they learned about each other's love languages and how to express love in a way that would be more meaningful to the other person.
They started to make small changes in the way they communicated and expressed their love. Mark would tell Sarah how much he appreciated her and all the wonderful things she did for him, and Sarah would make an effort to be physically affectionate with Mark by holding hands and cuddling more often.
Slowly but surely, they started to feel more connected and fulfilled in their relationship. They still had their differences, but they now knew how to communicate their love in a way that the other person could understand and appreciate. And with this newfound understanding, their love grew stronger and deeper than ever before.
