There’s something incredibly powerful about being in a room full of women who get it.

This week, I had the pleasure of attending the Biz Coffee Open House, and it was a beautiful reminder of what happens when women entrepreneurs intentionally support one another - no competition, no gatekeeping, just genuine connection and shared growth.

From the conversations to the energy in the room, it was clear: women supporting women isn’t a buzzword, it’s a strategy. It’s how ideas sharpen, confidence grows, and businesses scale in ways that feel aligned and sustainable.

A huge thank you to Sara Auld for hosting us in her gorgeous space at , a space that truly reflects the kind of community being built there. And heartfelt thanks to and the entire FemCity Hamilton chapter for such a warm welcome.

For over 20 years, I’ve helped brands find their voice and creative flow, drawing on experience across agencies, classrooms, and now entrepreneurship.

This trip is special: I’m here not only with my son (who jumped on the opportunity to learn about his heritage), but also to deliver corporate training designed to help organizations strengthen their brand and leadership capacity.
