We were proud to partner with Murphy Hospitality Group again this year to outfit teams from their restaurants and hospitality businesses across Atlantic Canada for their annual softball tournament.

This one felt especially close to home. A lot of the Stay Golden team grew up working in hospitality, so supporting an event that helps brings that community together was a meaningful one for us. Since the tournament landed on Father’s Day, we also helped them create a run of classic MHG dad hats for the day.

Thanks to the MHG team for partnering with us again this year, and congratulations to everyone who helped make the tournament happen.

Yesterday at Colonel Gray's graduation, we were proud to present Omar Al Rahhal with our 2026 Next Generation’s Entrepreneur Bursary.

Omar is the founder of The Fifth Sense Foundation, a student-led initiative started through Junior Achievement, creating culturally inspired scented products to raise awareness and support for healthcare-related causes. The project blends entrepreneurship, social impact, and student leadership, with a portion of profits going toward terminal illness research.

We were really impressed by Omar’s story, his determination, and the purpose behind what he is building. This award includes a $1,000 bursary, summer access to The Foundry Startup Incubator, and mentorship support through the summer.

A big thank you to our partners, MVRK Inc., The Foundry, and the PEI IT Alliance, for helping bring this award back for a second year.

Congratulations Omar. Keep building!
