In the agricultural world we know this to be all too true. It doesn’t matter how many times we repeat science-tested, black and white facts to consumers, at best it falls on deaf ears and at worst it doesn’t change their opinions (behaviour) at all.

As a very science based profession agriculture’s scientific concepts can be difficult to understand without technical training.

We should assume that our audiences (consumers) are just as curious and concerned as we are about agriculture and its future, but we have to understand that they can’t know what they don’t know.
