It’s been far too long since I’ve posted any design, branding or marketing work from BRANDCAMP…and I apologize.
The global storm over the past 16 months had enabled me to dive deep into the abyss of the industry and evaluate the local market, evolve my style, grow as a brand design professional and expand my creative services.
Despite being quiet on the surface it has been a frenzy of activity watching, learning, working toward an awakening…hold on for more!

So after years of discussion last week Scotiabank (formerly the Bank of Nova Scotia) revealed its rebranded geometrical sans word-mark and simplified icon losing the globe and separating ‘flying S icon’ from the word-mark going forward.
This brand is near and dear to me having worked very closely with it for years managing its application in regards to branches, sponsored venues and event marketing.

New Logo and Identity for Scotiabank

A look back at one of our fav brand babies and awesome companies.
We worked with the 705 team to develop and create the refreshed look and feel of this online wooden eyewear and apparel companies brand ID.

Our campaign “EXPLORING LONGITUDES. ADJUSTING LATITUDES” vision was to celebrate and unite diverse cultures and their common connection and eco-conscious appreciation of the natural elements of wood, water, and the wild outdoors — specifically the “puddle hopping” international travellers exploring our lakes, oceans and beaches around the globe.

We wanted to promote the buoyant eyewear to the fashion forward, actively aquatic and world adventurer highlighting quality, hipness and the smart added value of investing in FLOATING quality sunglasses and UV lenses.

Here are few examples of the logo set and the integration into the design of the wooden glasses arms, frames, the bamboo shoot case and clean style throughout the rest design of ads, merch and website.

✴️ EMBER ALERT ✴️
Excited to provide can design for the second brew from the talented local craft beer makers Canvas Brewing Co. affectionately named CANVAS EMBER.
Provided design and packaging direction to evoke a smouldering warm feeling of a glowing bonfire for these cold winter days while connecting with the first release CANVAS KOLSCH.
This easy drinking and smooth Amber Ale boats a 5.2% ABV and 20 IBU rating delivering aromatic notes of coffee and toffee with a deep amber colour. Another delicious new creation - 2 for 2 is a nice start!!

Available on tap On The Docks Pub and coming soon to your fav Muskoka pub, restaurant and bar.
