Those working in policies, processes and programs should know of our legislative requirements under the Constitution, the Indigenous languages Act and the Multiculturalism Act.
They should be acting upon their obligation to dismantle barriers that prevent the full inclusion of Indigenous People in alignment with the United Nations Declaration Act and the Employment Equity Act.
They should at all sectors, directorates and branches be actively addressing the many concerns Indigenous employees have raised in forums and through the Many Voices One Mind Report.
Nothing should be advanced at ISC that is not informed by Indigenous perspectives and ways of knowing and being.

Those promoting status quo should know they are contributing to the historic and ongoing exclusion of Indigenous People.
