Writing emails **shouldn't** feel like pulling teeth.

The #1 issue people face is overthinking. Pausing. Wondering if their words will make sense. And on top of that, they often give too much away in the subject line or forget to grab the reader's attention from the start.

But it **doesn’t** have to be this hard.

Sometimes, speaking your thoughts out loud can make the whole process easier. Dictating allows your ideas to flow, and you can always clean it up later. This results aren't always perfect, but it could be *just what you need* to make your email writing simple and fast.

Writing good emails is like an art.

I've spent over 10 years and $10k learning how to write emails that actually engage people. One big piece of advice is to get personal and tell stories. But here’s the mistake some people make with that.

I had a client start telling stories in her emails—all about her life. The problem? Too much about her, not enough about her audience.

The truth is, people care more about themselves than your personal life. So remember, while stories can help build trust and likeability, they need to *relate* to your audience, not be just about you.

So here’s the key: If you use stories to show your readers that you get what they are going through, they will trust that YOU can help solve their problem(s).

Ever struggle with writing emails? 😅

A lot of people start writing without thinking *how* to hook you in. The #1 mistake? Giving away everything in the subject line or just being too boring upfront.

Why do that when there’s a better way? You can keep it interesting. You can keep people curious. One way I’ve found helps is by *speaking* what I want to say instead of typing it.

Sure, dictation has it's flaws, but sometimes it can make writing easier. And if you want to learn how I use AI and automations to turn even messy dictations into solid emails (and social posts), just drop with the word “AI.”
