The Canadian Poppy Project has officially launched.
We are collecting hand‑knit and crocheted poppies from across Canada for a national Remembrance Day installation at the Ottawa Museum of Science and Technology in November 2026.
Any size. Any pattern. Any shade of red.
Your creativity — and your remembrance — are welcome.
380 poppies have already been donated.
Our minimum goal is 1,500.
Our dream goal is 2,500.
In collaboration with Yarnspirations, we invite makers from every province and territory to help us build a field of handmade remembrance.
Nothing more inspiring than a field of poppies flanked by Lambretta’s to honour those who fought for our freedom.
Patterns available.
Yarn support available.
Mailing and drop‑off options available.
Follow along as we rebuild the Lambretta story in Canada
