There is nothing quite like the unpredictable thrill of wildlife photography. You can't pose your subject, you can't ask them to step into the light, you just have to wait, watch, and hope for the best.
I spent a quiet morning observing the gentle movements of this beautiful female Brewer's Blackbird by the water. Capturing this photo right as she paused on the weathered driftwood was such a fun, rewarding little victory.
