Cheri from Cheri - Purpose Flower Co. didn’t set out to grow flowers. Her vision was much bigger than that. It was about making a difference however she could.

From regenerative farming practices, to supporting others in our community with their sustainable farming by giving a portion of flower sale profits, to simply making someone’s day a little brighter with her kind spirit… and, of course, the most beautiful flowers that I continue to marvel at!

One of my favourite things is discovering businesses that genuinely live their values.

Maybe it comes from my years of owning a natural living store, where I learned to ask a lot of questions about ingredients, sourcing and the people behind the products. I’ve always believed that what we put in, on and around our bodies matters.

Finding Homestead Foods here in Kelowna felt like finding one of those hidden gems. Then I met the owners.

They’re not chasing trends. They’re building a business around sustainability, from raising cattle to growing food to building modular homes.
