The Kensington & Area Chamber held their AGM last week and are pleased to welcome three new Board members!
We would like to welcome Nicole Wilson to the Board of Directors!
Nicole has spent the past 11 years working at Twin Shores Camping Area, where she has held several management roles. Beginning as a Marketing Development Officer, she later transitioned into the role of Marketing Manager and now serves as Community Manager. Her work includes marketing strategy, team and hiring support, community engagement, and event management, all within the tourism sector she is most passionate about.
In addition to her role at Twin Shores, Nicole is a freelance marketer providing social media management, content creation, marketing consulting, and general marketing support to small businesses and organizations. She is driven by helping organizations strengthen their marketing efforts by offering practical tools and actionable guidance. While her experience spans non-profit, IT, and B2B sectors, tourism remains her primary focus, fueled by a love for Prince Edward Island and all it has to offer.
Nicole’s involvement with the KACC is rooted in both experience and passion. Having worked for the Chamber from 2017–2018, she understands the organization’s value and the vital role it plays in supporting and connecting the local business community. Serving on the KACC Board is a natural extension of her long-standing commitment to community and economic development.
Nicole lives in Darnley with her husband, son, and dog.
Nicole's favourite quote is, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” —Eleanor Roosevelt
