A few years ago, this conversation would have sounded a little dramatic.

Today? Not really. With conversations happening around legislation and the future of social platforms, it raises a question every business owner should think about:

Meet Maranda, our Marketing Associate ✨

I actually met Maranda while she was a student at SLC. She interviewed me for a class project and I remember leaving that conversation immediately impressed. Not only by her creativity, but by her talent behind the camera. Her photography and videography skills stood out right away, but even more than that, it was her work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine passion for creating that caught my attention.

I offered her some part-time work back in November, and from day one she jumped in with both feet. Watching her grow and continue to bring fresh ideas to the table has been so exciting. So when graduation came around, I was incredibly happy to offer her a full-time position on our team.

You’ll find Maranda working hard behind the scenes creating content, capturing photo and video, designing emails, and helping bring our clients’ brands to life. She’s quickly become such an important part of our team, and we’re so excited for you all to get to know her a little more.

There was a time where I really valued a more “balanced” content approach. Posting with intention, not overdoing it, letting things breathe.

And I still believe there’s a place for that.

But the way people consume content now… it’s different. Faster. More crowded. Easier to get lost in.

So my perspective shifted.

It’s not just about how good your content is anymore. It’s about how often people are actually seeing you.

Because most people aren’t sitting around waiting for your next post. If you’re not consistently in front of them, you slowly disappear from their world.

Because how many times have you posted:

…and heard crickets?

Yeah. Same boots.
Different words.

Most brands are out here selling products…

👉 feelings

Because no one is buying Uggs…
they’re buying warm feet, cozy mornings, and that off-duty look they saw on Pinterest.

Our younger selves would be so proud. 🥲

What I love most about our team is that none of us took the exact same path to get here. Everyone came in with a different journey, different experiences, and different skills. And somehow, that’s exactly what makes it work.

Those different backgrounds bring different perspectives, strengths, and ideas to the table. One person sees the creative angle, another sees the strategy, another sees the details that make everything run smoothly. When you put it all together, it creates something so much stronger than if we all thought the same way.

Watching everyone grow into their roles, build confidence in what they do, and support each other along the way is one of the most rewarding parts of building this team.

It’s a good reminder that there’s no single “right” path to end up where you’re meant to be. Sometimes the most unexpected journeys lead you exactly where you’re supposed to land. ✨

“I don’t want to spam my audience.”

It’s one of the most common hesitations I hear when businesses talk about email marketing.

But most of us are already receiving emails from brands like Old Navy, Lululemon, and Aritzia multiple times a week… sometimes multiple times a day. And we don’t unsubscribe because they’re sending too many emails. We stay subscribed because we’re interested in what they offer.
