Hello everyone my name is Grace, I am the entrepreneur behind little daisy designs, I am currently a student in social media and web marketing, and I am a licensed esthetician I worked in spas since I graduated in 2017 the last 5 years I have worked as an esthetician for about 3 years until I had my daughter and took 1 and a half years off to be with her and was a tough discussion to leave her and go work part-time at a spa.
I love the industry but I knew part of me wasn’t happy and needed more so 7 months ago I went off on sick leave due to my mental health and took the time to figure things out, So I made the quick decision to enroll in medical office but little did I know once the pass few months settle down from all the craziness of leaving work making the decision of either find new work or go back to school, having to move, trying to find a place to live, My daughters 2nd birthday and moving into our new place. I came to find myself thinking of how I saw my future and to be honest, it wasn’t me in an office, working for someone else and not being with my daughter.
I knew I loved being involved in the beauty industry but at the time I didn’t know what that meant for work, so I did some soul searching and noticed my love for creating and my eye for detail, so I looked through my school courses and found the course I am now In and made the switch back in June.
As the time went on, I was seeing my complete future in my head, from what I do, to how my days look.
I have never pictured my life that much before in so much detail. So, I can now say I know what is planned for me and how I can get there now I just have to complete school and continue learning.
