đ Be transparent about the process. Communicate expectations and timelines at each point in the candidate journey â from your job ads, to your career site, to your first call with the candidate, and beyond. Send updates if anything changes to avoid spooking them with sudden changes.
đ Provide valuable content and information. Once a candidate is in your pipeline, itâs important that you nurture them. While high contact is key, you donât want to bombard them with irrelevant information. Instead, share content that adds value to your candidateâs journey. This can look like an employee blog post, feedback on their phone screen, or a tip video on how to prepare for their next interview.
đ Remove unnecessary steps and barriers. In todayâs market, candidates are often faced with multiple job offers so ensuring your application process is short and frictionless is important.
