LinkedIn is still the most underutilized social platform, and that creates enormous opportunity for those of us willing to use it intentionally.
You see, LinkedIn is the vegetables of social media while Instagram, Facebook and TikTok are the dessert.
Dessert is easy. It is entertaining, addictive, funny and instantly rewarding. Most people naturally gravitate toward scrolling content that helps them escape, laugh or disconnect for a few minutes.
Vegetables are different. They are good for us, but they require intention. That is what LinkedIn represents.
Professional growth. Networking. Personal branding. Learning. Visibility. and long term opportunity.
The interesting part is this: because so many people prioritize entertainment over professional development, LinkedIn remains far less crowded with intentional effort than other platforms.
That leaves more room for the people who consistently show up, contribute value, build relationships and share their expertise.
Most people consume.
Fewer people author, build, and broadcast.
