Everyone talks about target audience.
☝🏼Why is it so important, and how do you actually define your target audience? And in general, is it even possible to do marketing without it?
Let’s break it down step by step⬇️
1️⃣ It’s useless to think that your product is for everyone.
That’s why, before planning content and before launching ads, you must analyze your target audience. First, ads should grab the right people, and then content should convert them into buyers.
2️⃣ But how do you define your target audience?
If you look at the people who already buy from you, they’re often very different (different interests, lifestyles, income levels, desires, and motivations)
‼️That’s why it’s critical to split your target audience into segments.
Why does this matter so much?
✔️ Segmenting your audience allows you to run ads properly by creating specific ad creatives for each segment. It also helps you understand your customers’ pain points, because the reason someone buys a product or service can be completely different from person to person.
🫱🏼🫲🏽 My advice: never run ads without doing target audience analysis first. Nobody wants to burn money on ads, right?
So do you actually analyze your target audience?
Or do you still think you don’t need it?
