A platform only works if the engine behind it is strong.

We designed the Living site with a clean, extensible CMS schema, project-level templates that can expand into full sites, and performance and accessibility standards that keep the experience fast and consistent as content scales.

Our role went beyond interface design. JDCO acted as creative consultants to define the engine behind this project, so that internal teams can move quickly without sacrificing quality. We also engineered the CRM layer: registration flows that map to segmented journeys, tagging and automation that turn interest into insight, and analytics foundations that tie campaigns to outcomes.

New communities can launch in days, floor plans and availability can be layered in without rework, and the brand stays tight across every touchpoint.

The full site is live, the infrastructure is built for what’s next, and the system is ready to support years of growth at telusliving.com

Living didn’t need “just” a functional website; they needed a future-ready digital ecosystem.

When a brand launches a new division with multiple communities in motion, the risk is fragmentation. Different timelines, different content needs, different audiences. Without a structure to hold it all together.

Our goal for TELUS Living was to create one master framework that feels unmistakably TELUS while giving TELUS Living its own voice, a platform where each community can stand on its own and still read as part of a larger story.

As creative consultants, we shaped the strategy and the system: information architecture for a “site of sites,” a modular design language that scales across devices, and a content model that lets the team add depth without adding friction.

The result is a digital home with room to grow. Calm on the surface, disciplined underneath, built for clarity today and momentum tomorrow.

Today we remember those who bravely fought for the freedom of our beautiful country. As Canadians, may we never forget their sacrifice and continue to stand on guard. As our anthem declares, “God, keep our land glorious and free”.

We believe that when stories of compassion and care are told with clarity, they don’t just change perception, they change outcomes.

That’s why we’re excited to share that we’ve started working with More Than a Roof, a housing society in British Columbia that has been creating safe and compassionate communities since 1986, providing affordable housing and belonging for people with diverse needs.

Our team at JDCO is partnering with theirs to explore how brand strategy and storytelling tools can strengthen the way they communicate, beginning with the development of a collaborative editorial calendar, the creation of Standard Operating Procedures for key marketing processes, and the expansion of their brand identity guidelines and templates.

This is the type of work that excites us most: helping organizations who are already making a difference find the tools, clarity, and confidence they need to tell their stories powerfully, consistently, and in a way that reflects who they truly are.

If your organization is ready to elevate your communications through brand strategy, editorial planning, or nonprofit marketing tools, we’d love to connect! Because the right design and strategy don’t just build stronger brands, they build stronger communities.

Earlier this summer, we had the opportunity to take Peak Safety Training’s identity to the next level, evolving from a single logo into a full-fledged brand guidelines system that brings clarity, consistency, and confidence to every touchpoint.

This document now extends far beyond the logo, covering visual identity, colour palettes, typography, imagery, voice, and applications across signage, apparel, and promotional items, ensuring that Peak’s brand story is communicated with strength and precision in every context.

For an organization dedicated to equipping individuals and companies with the skills and certification to advance safely and successfully, building a cohesive and professional brand identity was about more than design. It was about trust, recognition, and the power of clarity.

Branding has never just been about a logo or a font, and over the past few months we’ve been investing deeply in helping organizations put the right systems in place so that their brands don’t just look good, but actually function seamlessly across every touchpoint.

From co-developing editorial calendars that align campaigns, audiences, and strategic priorities, to documenting complex marketing processes into clear and repeatable SOPs, to expanding brand guidelines with templates and stock libraries that make it easy for teams to create consistently, our work has been focused on building the infrastructure that allows brands to grow without losing their identity.

Because when the systems behind your brand are strong, your brand doesn’t just show up beautifully in the moment, it scales, sustains, and leaves an impression that lasts.

Say hello to Peak Safety Training () 👋 one of our newest JDCO Clients and a Burnaby-based team helping individuals, supervisors, and corporate crews work confidently and get home safe.

For Peak Safety Training, we led a Brand Positioning Workshop and built a Brand Positioning Blueprint that clarifies who they speak to, how the brand shows up, and why it matters. This way, their voice feels human and consistent from the classroom to the feed, and their brand shows up the same everywhere.

At the core is a simple promise: clarity, confidence, certification. That promise now guides language and next steps across web, social, and every creative touchpoint, making growth feel organized, approachable, and real.

Is your business preparing for a growth phase? Let us help you with a grounded workshop and an actionable blueprint that scales across your channels. DM us to get started.

We’re excited to keep sharing the work we’ve done with Living in designing their new digital home, and in this final carousel of the series (for now!) we’re stepping back to the core site itself, the framework that introduces the vision and quietly powers each project page while guiding visitors toward clear, low-friction paths to inquire.

Designed to feel unmistakably TELUS while giving TELUS Living its own voice, the site pairs disciplined typography, a restrained palette, and thoughtful motion with a modular content model that scales as information grows, organizing the story into clean sections that articulate the program’s purpose, speak to community needs with human context, and present what’s available today alongside what’s on the horizon.

Under the hood, a simple, fast architecture and robust CRM integration support registration and follow-up from day one, while a flexible page system keeps copy, imagery, and future details (like floor plans, availability, and deeper narratives) consistent and accessible across devices without the fatigue of endless scroll or the risk of fragmentation as new projects are added.

This stage of the rollout is intentionally a teaser; we’ll share more once the full site is live, but for now we’re thankful to have worked with TELUS in establishing a calm, confident foundation that welcomes visitors, respects the TELUS brand, and equips TELUS Living with a digital home built for growth. Explore the site at telusliving.com (http://telusliving.com/) and stay tuned for what’s next.

We’re excited to keep sharing the work we’ve done with Living in designing their new digital home, and in this stage of the rollout we’re showcasing  Nanaimo: a teaser built with momentum in mind, offering a crisp introduction and a frictionless path to inquire within a mobile-first layout that feels immediate and inviting from the very first scroll.

Nanaimo’s story is about balance with a little extra velocity. Trailheads and harbour views, weekday convenience and weekend escape, so we shaped a single, focused page that moves the visitor quickly from context to conviction, pairing lifestyle imagery with architectural renderings, anchoring the narrative with clear headlines, and sequencing amenity and smart-suite details in concise modules that inform without slowing the pace.

Working within the established TELUS brand system and clear vision, we kept the experience unmistakably TELUS while giving Nanaimo its own outdoors-forward voice, using disciplined typography, a restrained palette, and a purposeful rhythm of whitespace and motion to create a page that reads clean, confident, and effortless across devices.

Behind the scenes, the same scalable architecture underpins the build, with streamlined content models and a robust CRM integration that captures registrations cleanly from day one and leaves room for meaningful expansion without sacrificing speed, accessibility, or brand consistency as the project evolves.

This release is a teaser by design, an energetic first look that welcomes curiosity now and sets the tone for what’s ahead. Explore the Nanaimo site at telusliving.com, and stay tuned as we continue unveiling more from this build.

We’re excited to finally begin to share our work with Living and grateful for the chance to collaborate on their new digital home, and while our team designed the entire TELUS Living teaser site, we’re introducing it in stages so we can give each piece the attention it deserves, starting here with Sechelt.

For Sechelt, the brief called for a calm, future-ready introduction that could welcome people now while building a solid foundation for what’s coming, so we crafted a single, focused landing experience that reads beautifully on mobile, keeps attention on the essentials, and avoids the fatigue of an endless scroll by organizing information into concise modules that tell the story clearly at a glance.

Working within TELUS’ established brand system, and their clear vision for TELUS Living, we leaned into disciplined typography, a restrained palette, and thoughtful motion to ensure the page feels unmistakably TELUS while giving Sechelt its own coastal voice, balancing clear copy and considered imagery with generous whitespace so the experience feels refined, accessible, and easy to navigate across devices.

Behind the scenes, the architecture, hosting, and content model are intentionally simple and strong, enabling seamless CRM integration for registration from day one and allowing future layers (like floor plans, availability, and deeper storytelling) to roll out without compromising speed or brand consistency, which means the page can grow gracefully as the community takes shape.

This release is a teaser by design, an inviting first look that introduces TELUS Living Sechelt with clarity and confidence while setting the stage for meaningful expansion. Explore the Sechelt site at telusliving.com and stay tuned as we share more from this build.

When the market slows, most brands go quiet. They shrink back, pause their campaigns, and wait for things to “settle.” But history and strategy tell a different story.

The brands that continue showing up, speaking clearly, and investing in their presence during a downturn are the ones that come out stronger on the other side. They’re not just remembered, they’re revered.

In this carousel, we unpack the data behind why bold brands thrive in tough seasons. We’ve seen it time and again: investing in creative that moves people, messaging that connects, and brand presence that builds trust is not a risk, it’s resilience.
Cutting your marketing might feel like the responsible thing to do. But in reality, it often costs you more in the long run. You lose momentum. You lose visibility. You lose your voice in the market.
You don’t need to spend more. You just need to spend with purpose. And that’s where brand clarity, intelligent design, and strategy come in.

If you’re ready to future-proof your brand and build with intention (especially when others are pulling back) we’re here to help you. Because this moment isn’t something to fear. It’s something to lead through. Comment BRAND to get started.

When we designed the visual identity for ’s book The Contented Life, we also shaped a cohesive, meaningful experience around a message that matters. As the book made its way into readers’ hands, we had the privilege of crafting a full suite of digital assets to support its launch: social content, platform graphics, devotional promotion, and a series of short-form videos, all rooted in the same heart behind the message.

As we translated the book’s theme into digital content, our goal was to make every piece feel like an extension of that mindset: calm, clear, purposeful, and encouraging.

We created launch visuals, pre-order campaigns, and social media rollouts that felt vibrant and personal. Our series of short-form videos helped bring key ideas from the book to life, drawing people in with the kind of gentle resonance that mirrors the book’s tone. We also supported the rollout of the 40-day devotional on YouVersion, extending the brand into a mobile-first world while keeping the message front and center.

You can find The Contented Life online or wherever you get your books.
