Black & Whyte Apparel was established in 2010 as a screen printing business in Leduc, Alberta. I (Kellan Conrad) started silk screen printing in junior high and purchased beginner equipment to start working with on my own a few years after school. With the knowledge I had from school I was able to handle getting the basic's nailed down. After working on the basics for a while I purchased better sc
reen printing equipment and starting screen printing small runs of custom clothing for friends and others by word of mouth and the use of social media. In the fall of 2010 I attended a 3 day one on one training program in Winnipeg, Manitoba with the Discovery/ Lancer Group training under Bill Verasky and Morgan Young, a couple of printing veterans with over 20 years’ experience. Over the past four years my expertise and my knowledge of styles of screen printing have expanded, from four color process cmyk (photo realism screen printing), simulated process screen printing, cold peel transfers, foil transfers and spot color screen printing. I am always trying to expand my knowledge base and technology to improve Black and Whyte’s output and quality for the customers. Since Black and Whyte has been in business all of I started with very primitive equipment, and have recently upgraded all equipment to top of the line m&r screen printing equipment. We are able to print on shirts, hoodies, pants, shorts, jerseys, bag etc. Most of our materials come from local distributors and we have access to just about any product you may be interested in printing on. Black and Whyte can also assist in the design of your image prior to printing and help with editing.
