One thing people don’t realize about production work is that a “2 hour shoot” is never really just 2 hours.

Tomorrow we’re filming another MMA fight series and today is spent getting everything ready. Cameras need to be fully built out with monitors, audio, batteries, lenses, storage, settings, formats and backups.

Then there’s coordinating the team, making sure everyone’s dialed in and making sure we have everything we need before we even step on site.

The reality is, live events only happen once. There are no retakes if something gets missed.

The cameras rolling is the easy part. The real work is everything that happens beforehand to make sure the day runs smooth once the first punch gets thrown.

That’s the side of this industry a lot of people never really see.

Letting go is honestly the hardest part of building anything. Because every shoot, it’s your name on it. And what we’ve built at PMCS only works because the people around me treat every project like it’s their name on it too.

If you’ve ever used a gimbal, you know when it’s not balanced, it just fights you the whole time. You’re constantly adjusting, overcorrecting and it still doesn’t feel smooth.

That’s what it’s like without the right people. With the right team though, everything just clicks. You’re not fighting the process anymore, you’re just focused on getting it right. That’s what these guys do every single day.

A polished final piece of media is only half the job. The shot list, the direction, the decisions made on the day are what separates media that gets watched from media that just exists on a website. We document everything at PMCS because we want you to see exactly how it gets made. You'll see Paul directing on set, Jo running the creative, and a whole team of people behind the scenes who each play a specific role in making sure every project lands the way it should. Nobody in their industry was doing this, and that was exactly the point.

When we sat down with to map out their Meta AD campaign, we looked at every competitor running ADs in London and they all looked identical. Same format, same talking head setup, same safe approach that blends right into the feed and gets ignored.

So we went a different direction. We put their founder outside in the middle of a Canadian winter in swimming trunks, and backed it with real client results and a story that actually gave people a reason to trust them before they ever picked up the phone.

Your competitors are already telling you what’s working through their AD spend. The question is whether you’re paying attention to it.

There’s a big difference between exchanging business cards and exchanging ideas. This wasn’t a networking event where everyone’s sizing each other up. It was a room full of creators actually trying to figure out how to build together, throwing ideas around like we’re working on something bigger than ourselves.

Thank you to for creating a space that encourages collaboration instead of gatekeeping. We don’t compete, we collaborate and you can feel that the second you walk in. Jenna, you brought the right people into the room and executed this flawlessly. The Creator Exchange was sharp, intentional and full of conversations that will actually turn into action.

And the space itself is next level. Clean, modern and built in a way that makes you want to get to work immediately. You can feel the momentum in there.

London needs more of this energy. Less ego. More rooms. More builders. Let’s keep it going.
