Hellooo, happy Tuesday! As you may or may not have noticed, my activity on this account has decreased substantially and for one main reason, I am taking a bit of a different path in terms of my career and business. Let me explain a little more…

This year has been the biggest growth year for my business and I appreciate every single client and person that I’ve had the pleasure of working with or just connecting with as friends. My efforts in growing Elevation Branding worked very well and while the plan was to keep growing Elevation Branding, I was noticed by a large company that is in the drone and robotics industry because of all the work I put into my marketing.

After some conversation, they presented me with an offer to be their remote Marketing Manager and take on their marketing department and all marketing efforts. It was an offer that is truly a dream for me and I just couldn’t say no. They work on incredibly cool, future driven projects that make difficult work easier for companies like NASA, Transport Canada, Facebook/Meta, BC Ministry of Agriculture, Search and Rescue teams, Universities, Construction companies and so many others.

This is a little bittersweet for me as I still get to work from home with my pups by my side, with a very cool company/team in a dream role, but I will no longer be actively searching for clients with Elevation Branding. I will continue working with a select few of my long term clients and will take on projects that excite me, where my schedule allows, but this page will be fairly quiet moving forward. My main focus will be on this new role and I don’t want any of you to think I’ve gone missing, I had a few concerned friends and followers LOL.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to every one of you for following me and supporting me on this business journey. Your support has meant so much and is a big part of what encouraged me to keep posting and growing my business and that turned into an opportunity I never expected but I am SO excited about it.

Social media isn’t reliable for your business. There, I said it. Is it a large part of how many businesses promote themselves and gain new customers? Yes, and it’s a great platform… but it shouldn’t be the only way you do that because as we’ve seen time and time again, social media fails sometimes, there are glitches and things you can’t control which can cause you to lose your account. If that’s your only source of promoting and gaining new customers, you’re going to panic, I would too.

Instead of getting stuck in the situation where you lose your account and all that it includes, use other sources to promote your business and stay connected like the ones in this video!

Share this with your biz besties so they don’t go into panic mode when social media fails.

Helloooo, Happy Monday!!!

I had some fun in the studio recently, swipe for a few of my faves then come back here ⬇️ for some random facts about me (Carli) and Elevation Branding!

➡️ I have quite literally always had a love for art and design in every aspect which lead me to a career in Graphic Design and Marketing and grew into my business, Elevation Branding. Now, I specialize in branding, websites, social media and marketing. I work with businesses of all size from new/small businesses to large corporations.

➡️ My husband and I have the 3 sweetest dogs on the planet, Casey, Lilly and Tyson. They make appearances in my stories and have a highlight on my page because who doesn’t love a cute dog pic?

➡️ Almost year round, you can find me at the golf course with my husband getting as many rounds in as we can. It’s being outside, enjoying nature, challenging our scores to get better and being together! I get better the more we play and I can’t get to the LPGA without practice right? 😆

➡️ Some of my favourite local businesses are (obvi), .sawatzky

➡️ Elevation Branding has been in business for just over 8 years although I’ve been working in the design and marketing world for over 11 years! Time flies when you love what you do!

➡️ My focus is on providing the absolute best customer service, strategy and designs to all of my clients by continuing to learn and grow with this ever-changing industry. One of the ways I do that is by continuing my education, this winter I will be studying Marketing at The University of Toronto. Continuing to learn is so exciting to me which is also hilarious because I never liked school. Now that it’s for my business and my clients, it’s SO exciting!

I had the HARDEST time picking a sneak from today’s session … which is the very best problem to have.

So eventually (about an hour later than my usual night time post), I just flew through and picked one … kinda like a “universe decides” with mobile editing … so what do we think?
