In August Issue:

Art Ladouceur and Caroline Goulet were married on June 21, 2014, at the Lost Villages. They, along with Caroline’s two sons and their families, all live on Richmond Rd. One thing Caroline
always looks forward to is gathering everyone at their cottage on the St. Lawrence River. They both love to travel and try to volunteer in fundraisers and local events whenever possible.

Brent Boissonneault started Done Right Roofing in 1990. He operates the business alongside his wife, Linda, the business’s General Manager. They install commercial and residential roofing
systems for flat, low-slope, and sloped roofs. Four of their five kids are involved in the business, and they also believe in community involvement, sponsoring several youth sports teams, along with community magazines.

Local historian and resident, Jim Brownell, relates to the human impact of having to relocate 6,500 people from the lands to be flooded to higher grounds, from the inundation of July 1, 1958.

Expert Contributor, Patrick Campeau of Nurse Next Door, provides some tips for your aging parents and neighbours to beat the heat. These tips are essential as seniors are particularly
vulnerable to extreme heat.

In March's issue:

Danielle and Clayton Dionne, both 40, met at the former Don Cherry’s restaurant seventeen years ago. They moved in together two weeks later and bought their first home two months later. Talk about warp speed! “When you know, you know,” says Danielle. They have been married for thirteen years and have a son, Clayton, 14, who loves soccer, fishing, biking, and video gaming.

They love the country living that South Stormont provides them.

In November's issue:

Adam and Julie met in their teens when Adam was playing JR hockey for the Char-Lan Rebels. They are proud parents of two girls and a boy. Tenley, 13; Maelie, 11; and Bentley, now 9. This
is an active family. Adam still enjoys playing hockey, Julie teaches spin classes, and both girls enjoy competitive dancing and softball while Bentley plays hockey and soccer. As a family, they
partake in many outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, skiing, snowmobiling, ATV and spending time at the lake.

Patrick Campeau, our home care services specialist, outlines the signs that our parents might need help at home. Our busy schedules don’t allow us to visit as much as we’d like, but our loved ones deserve health and companionship.

Martin Buser of Tickle Your Fancy Gift Shop chronicles the different uses of incense. Through the centuries, incense has been used for medicinal purposes, religious ceremonies, and simply for relaxing aromas.

In August issue:

Phil and Meghan Legroulx met by chance on a downtown patio 13 years ago. They just celebrated their 10 th wedding anniversary in May. They were actually featured in this magazine in
December 2018 when they were a family of four with boys Ben, now 11, and Max, now 8. They welcomed twins Nick and Olivia, who are now 4. They enjoy trips as a family and are all avid
sports fans; half are Habs fans, and half follow Mom’s enthusiasm for the Leafs…c’mon Mom!
The kids are active in soccer, baseball, and basketball. Ben also takes singing lessons and regularly performs in local plays. Meghan is a Special Education Teacher, and Phil is a Lab
Technician at the local hospital.
