You ran more campaigns this year than last year. You closed roughly the same number of deals.

That is not a traffic problem. People are finding you. Something between the visit and the sale is costing you buyers who were already interested.

We are running a free live training on how to turn website traffic into revenue. Wednesday September 23, 11am ET.

Most of your B2B buyers will never like, comment, or follow. They read quietly, then show up on a call already halfway sold.

So engagement is a poor scoreboard for B2B content. The better one is what happens on the first call: how much you no longer have to explain.

Trust gets built long before anyone fills out a form.

Worth saving before your next reporting meeting.

Most of your B2B buyers will never like, comment, or follow. They read, screenshot, and show up on a call already halfway sold.

Which means engagement is a bad scoreboard for B2B content. The real signal is what happens on the first call: how much you no longer have to explain.

Judge it by how warm people arrive, not by how loud the feed gets.

Send this to whoever is defending the content budget this quarter.

X-Copper's problem was never traffic. Their website still described the firm they used to be.

They had grown from traffic tickets into serious criminal defence, but someone searching at 2am for help with a real charge had no way to know that. The expertise existed. The visibility did not.

Swipe for the three moves that closed the gap and the numbers they produced.

Most established businesses are a service line or two ahead of their own website. The cost rarely looks like a problem. It looks like leads that simply never arrive.

AI writes correct content. Correct is not the same as credible.

Credibility comes from a stance. Something a reader could disagree with. AI averages the internet, so it gives you what nobody would argue with.

The material that makes content yours is not in the training data. It is in your sales calls, your client patterns, and the opinion your competitors would not put their name on.

Where do you land on this: is AI in content a drafting problem or a thinking problem?

08/24/2026

AI is trained on the same public marketing playbooks your competitors are prompting with. Ask it to write your strategy and it will return the average of your category.

Research, competitor scans, synthesis, first drafts: genuinely useful.

Deciding what makes you the obvious choice: not its job.

That answer sits in your sales calls, your win and loss reasons, and the objections your team hears every week. It is not in the training data, which is exactly why it is worth something.

The businesses that will struggle over the next few years are not the ones ignoring AI. They are the ones letting it make the decisions that were supposed to set them apart.

Where has AI actually earned its place in your marketing, and where did it flatten your message?

If your traffic isn't converting, more traffic won't fix it. It just costs more.

Traffic and conversion both matter. But if visitors aren't turning into paying customers, conversion is where to look first.

More traffic is the easy part. Paid, SEO, social, email. There's always another channel to open.

Pushing more people toward a page that doesn't convert just burns budget faster. The leak is downstream, and adding volume makes it worse.

So ask the harder question first: what's stopping the traffic you already have from becoming a customer? Fix that, then open the floodgates.

Now every visitor is worth more.

Save this before your next traffic push.

What do you fix first, traffic or conversion? Drop it below.

Your customers are asking AI tools who to hire before they ask you. Are you in the answer?

3 things to check: ask the tools directly (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity), check what the AI is reading from your site, and see how your competitors get described.

Run the 3 checks yourself and save this — or DM the word AEO and we'll book a short strategy session to look at where your business shows up in AI answers and where it doesn't yet.

A beautiful marketing report that doesn't show how the business is growing is just noise.

Anyone can build a clean chart. The design is the easy part.

The real question: does the report tell you what your marketing dollars are doing to revenue?

If it doesn't, those charts are just activity. They fill a slide and answer nothing.

A useful report is simple. It leads with the numbers that matter to you as the owner: what you spent, what it returned, where the growth is coming from.

Everything else is supporting detail.

Save this before your next reporting meeting.

What's the one number your reports are missing? Drop it below.

More leads is the most common request in marketing. It is also the wrong place to start if the business cannot handle them.

If inventory is thin or a service client has to wait six or eight weeks, more demand does not create more revenue. It creates frustration, friction, and a reputation problem that outlasts the campaign.

Serviceability has to come first. Before opening the floodgates, get honest about how many customers the business can actually deliver for, and how quickly.

The best marketing matches demand to capacity. That is what protects the brand while it grows.
