Tomorrow, my father will turn 86. That is a long life. He now struggles with dementia, all too common these days. What do you get an 86 year old for his Birthday? I decided that a tribute would be most fitting.
About 2 months ago, I was approached by San Diego Magazine on their upcoming annual "Pets & Vets" edition. Rather than purchasing advertising, I opted for a Profile, which could recognize Dad's history with the city, and at the same time, what he has done for pets. Dad started his final, and longest lasting, most successful business at the age of 65. Every day, we receive letters or remarks thanking us for helping their pets. That is all the tribute we need.
Help give your dog, cat, horse, or exotic animal the best rest of their life
