Wow! This is a great example of Photoshop behaving badly. This morning I went to open up an image of a young couple I know if for no other reason than "because" ... and this is what I got.

Now I had been working on some hockey pics before and after I last opened this image up the other day but there is no logical reason this should display itself.

I got to thinking that the latest update from Adobe may have something to do with it and while I was doing the screen shot for this post, I get a notification from Adobe that yet another update is ready to be installed. yes, after installing this latest update, the image does open up as it should. None-the-less, weird eh?

Lightroom Quick Tip; If you use Lightroom as your main piece of software to work on your images but also refer back to Bridge once in a while (and there are many that do for a variety of reasons) or any other image previewing software and add some sort of metadata information to your images, once back in Lightroom you'll immediately notice that Lightroom does not update that new information all on it's own. You have to tell Lightroom to do so. Once you are back in Lightroom, select all of the images in question and goto the Metadata menu and choose "Read Metadata from File". Within a few seconds all of your image's metadata will be updated and added to your catalog.
