In The Showcase 2, five Moncton Creates participants come together to explore Greater Moncton - its places, people, opportunities, experiences, and the sense of community that makes the region unique.

Featuring Magaret Donfack, Krishna Pandya, Whitney Djoma, Ghweleke Peter Oghenevwegba, and Raksha Sharma, this group showcase turns their Moncton Creates journey into something tangible: a shared exploration of the community around them.

This is what Moncton Creates is about, moving beyond ideas, creating together, and giving people the platform to turn what they discover into something worth sharing.

Three days. Countless moments. One unforgettable celebration of culture, creativity, and community.

Our creatives had the privilege of documenting the Africa Caribbean Carnival from beginning to end, capturing the colour, the movement, the music, the people, the stories, and the energy that brought the entire experience to life.

From the behind-the-scenes preparation to the performances, conversations, celebrations, and powerful community moments, every frame told a story of identity, belonging, pride, and connection.

It was about preserving a cultural moment, amplifying community voices, and documenting the people and experiences shaping our region.

A huge shoutout to the creatives who showed up, stayed present through all three days, and helped tell the story with intention.

SPOTLIGHT | THE CONVERSATION THAT BROUGHT IT ALL TOGETHER

At Moncton Creates: The Showcase, the stage became more than a place to present, it became a space for perspective, experience, and honest conversation.

Our panel brought together Jorge Melgar, Haqq, and Cam, with auranritya skillfully guiding the conversation as moderator.

Different journeys. Different experiences. Different perspectives. One powerful conversation.

Together, they explored what it really takes to move from creativity to opportunity, the importance of building relationships, navigating challenges, creating value, staying adaptable, and finding your place within a growing creative ecosystem.

What made the conversation valuable wasn’t simply what was said on stage. It was the experience behind the words and the willingness to share it with the next generation of creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
