There are quite a few new people here so I will take this as an opportunity to reintroduce myself!
HI! My name is Allessia and I am the owner of 6 Degrees of Social. 6° is a full-service Social Media Marketing Agency located in Hudson, QC, the small but beautiful town I have called home for the majority of my life.
I went to school for Fashion Marketing (this was 2007 and Social Media for business was not exactly a thing just yet) but fell in love and moved to NYC for almost 5 years. While living in NYC was incredible, moving there did leave me 4 credits shy of graduating.
It was in the midst of the pandemic and after having my son that I started to question what I wanted to do with my life as he was getting older and wouldn't be as dependent on me once school started. It's then in September of 2020 that I decided to launch my very own business.
Having worked in the Digital Marketing space for several years at that point and moving from small boutique to corporate positions, I knew I didn't want to work in a cubicle and that I wanted to focus on helping small businesses digitally blossom.
It has been almost 4 years, 30+ clients of varying collaborations and over a decade in the industry and I am grateful every single to have a career I absolutely adore.
Social Media gets a bad wrap and when used irresponsibly can be a dark and toxic place. That being said, I love working with businesses of all sizes and providing them with the proper tools to create intentional content, make authentic connections and grow lead generating communities.
