The Study is where culture is analyzed instead of performed. Some things don’t need to be louder. They need to be understood.
We look closely at culture, behaviour, and data to understand what’s actually happening, not just what’s being said about it.

mon premier article en français depuis longtemps.
je parle de découvrabilité, de shreez, et de notre manie de vouloir tout refaire en version locale. bonne lecture :)
(écrit en cette belle journée ensoleillée où j’ai visiblement rien de mieux à faire.)

i know a lot of people won’t like this one. especially if your job title includes the word “content.”
but someone had to say it: most of what we call “content strategy” is just organized spam.
read my latest substack: is content strategy is a scam?
consider this a love letter (and a call-out) to every anyone who’s ever built a calendar, chased a trend, or confused reach with resonance.

I finally decided to take the leap and officially start The Study, a blog where I will examine cultural events in the music, art, sports and fashion industry through data and a strategic approach.
The Study is a passion project where I will discuss topics and ideas debated in culture ranging from the symbolism behind a Telfar bag to the social commentary on Twitter during the NBA Finals.
It’s a place where I will be writing about artists, athletes, podcasts, apps and brands that I love and that are underrepresented in data science and academic spaces.
The Study is also a place where I will share some ways for you to acquire data-related knowledge so you can apply it to your own business or personal life.
I hope to transfer some of the knowledge I have acquired while being in data-driven spaces and the importance of being apart of and enforcing a data-driven culture in your circle.
