It’s hard to believe I’ve already been running 2 online businesses for almost 2 years.

Over this time, I’ve had plenty of highs and lows and learnt stacks of lessons along the way.

Today, I wanted to share a really pivotal moment for me in business: that was when I started to apply attraction marketing to my business. I then realized that it doesn’t matter how ‘’over-saturated’’ the market is if you:
1- stand out from the crowd and be yourself
2 - know who your target market is and what specific problem you solve for them
3- choose different ways to market your product/service

INDUSTRY JARGON - I’m not a fan of fancy industry terms or confusing lingo. Instead, I want to help my community understand more about what I do best, strategy and creativity for your business.

Today, I wanted to chat through a concept you might have heard about before: UGC.

Here’s what you need to know: UGC stands for User Generated Content. It’s any content (text, videos, images, reviews etc) created by people, rather than brands.

You may be asking why is it relevant to you as a business owner. Think of it as a modern word-of-mouth type of promotion for your business. And also a way to take authenticity to the next level when marketing your products/services.

Ready? Let’s get started.

Well first thing first, you need to know that you won’t FIND clients on social media, they’ll either FIND you or you’ll have to CREATE them.

Start by CONNECTING with existing clients, past clients or referrals (If you need help to get more referrals, I have 5 simple email templates for you) and see how you can solve more problems for them.

Then create engagement for you to respond to by offering FREE value (in your captions, videos, blogs and more)

From there, you can naturally offer your products/services to those who DM you or comment on your posts.

Remember, you don’t always have to WAIT for engagement. Reach out to new followers, commenters, or people in your DM requests folder.
