Henry Ford once said “Stopping your advertising to save money is like stopping your watch to save time.” The more you think about it, the more it makes sense...
I mean, just think about it for a second. You would think you are "saving money" by stopping your paid campaigns, but that money is inevitably going to be put to use somewhere else right?
Maybe you made a New Years resolution to save more, or you want that fancy new car, or you are planning a trip to the Bahamas ( although I doubt that you are with all the craziness in the world right now.) .
The point is, it is bound to be used up somewhere. Just like how time is not going to stop if you stop your watch.
So why would you stop your advertising to “Save Money”? Something that is (hopefully) bringing you a good ROI month after month?
That just seems counter-intuitive because if a campaign brings you $5 for every $1 spent and you put that process to a halt, does that not technically mean that you are losing money?
Just some food for thought…
