Today and every day, we honor the courage that secured our liberty. Thank you to every service member, past and present, who defended this great nation.

This posed image of a hunter and guide is probably an advertising photograph for the Peters Cartridge Company. The two men are displaying a box of Peters cartridges for the camera in a time-honored advertising convention that can still be seen in contemporary television ads for pain relievers and similar products. The guide holds his client’s bolt-action rifle, possibly a military rifle that has been “sporterized.”

Legacy isn't about what you leave for your children; it’s about what you leave in them. ❤️ Look at the focus in those young eyes. He isn't just learning to aim a bow; he’s learning patience. He’s learning that to provide is a sacred duty. He’s learning that he is a link in a chain that stretches back thousands of years. This is how our culture survives—one lesson, one story, and one shot at a time. There is no pride quite like seeing the next generation take up the mantle with honor. It reminds us that as long as we teach them to respect the Earth, our fire will never go out.

There is a sacred silent language between a hunter and the eagle. 🦅 To the People, the Eagle is the messenger to the Creator, the one who flies highest and sees all. When you see a hunter standing on the edge of the world with his winged brother, you aren't just seeing a "pet" or a "tool." You are seeing a partnership built on years of trust and mutual respect. This is the definition of a Proud Moment—standing tall, eyes sharp, and spirit aligned with the sky. We carry the strength of the mountains in our stride and the vision of the eagle in our souls. Let us never forget the majesty of those who came before us and the creatures that walked (and flew) beside them. Share this to honor the spirit of the Eagle!

The radiator of the Model T hissed into the frozen December air, a mechanical sigh of relief after miles of navigating rutted logging trails. Silas didn’t care about the cold biting at his ears or the way his boots had gone numb hours ago. On the fender sat the proof of a week spent in the shadows of the Great North Woods—a heavy-beamed buck that would mean meat on the table for the hardest months of the winter. In 1924, hunting wasn't a hobby; it was a silent pact made with the land. He thought of his wife waiting by the woodstove and his children who would cheer when they heard the low chug of the engine turning into the drive. This wasn't just a trophy; it was a promise kept. It was the pride of a provider who had matched his wits against the wild and come home with the ultimate prize. Every scratch on that old truck told a story, but the weight on the fender told the one that mattered most tonight.

They call it "hunting," but for us, it was always a conversation with the land. 🌲 Imagine standing in the stillness of the woods, where the only sound is the crunch of snow and the beat of your own heart. Our ancestors didn't just look for tracks; they read the story of the forest. Every broken twig and every print in the dirt was a message from the Great Spirit. This isn't just about the harvest; it’s about the patience, the discipline, and the deep-rooted respect for a life taken so that the tribe could live another day. We never took more than we needed, and we always gave thanks. It's a way of life that the modern world is slowly forgetting, but it lives on in our blood. Do you still feel that connection to the wild?
