TIS Show Services, in business for 43 years, is currently recruiting for GIG workers to join our team of Trade Show Display installers to assist in assembling displays at the 2022 Montreal International Auto Show in January. All work will take place at the Palais Des Congres located at Metro Place D'Armes.

Positions available: Minimum 15 positions available

Work details: The work will consist of working in a supervised environment with a team of installers to assemble the displays. Work can include installing flooring, wall panels, turntables, platforms and other display materials.

Skills required:
TIS is looking for candidates that are comfortable working with their hands and have some experience working with tools. Backgrounds in, carpentry, basic construction or assembly, renovation experience, mechanics or general handy person etc. What is required is a good work ethic and the ability to work 12 hours per day.

Remuneration:
Salary starts at $20.00 per hour with Overtime paid daily after 8.5 hours or all day on Saturday and Sunday. Overtime is calculated at 1.5 times base salary ($30.00 per/hr)

Dates for work:
Auto show install starts January 12 - 20th, 2022 and the dismantle goes from January 31 - February 2nd, 2022.

TIS Show Services, en affaires depuis 43 ans, recrute actuellement des travailleurs de GIG pour se joindre à notre équipe d'installateurs de présentoirs pour salons commerciaux afin d'aider à assembler les présentoirs au Salon international de l'auto de Montréal 2022 en janvier. Tous les travaux auront lieu au Palais des Congrès situé au Métro Place D'Armes.
Postes disponibles : Minimum 20 postes disponibles
Détails des travaux : Le travail consistera à travailler dans un environnement supervisé avec une équipe d'installateurs pour assembler les présentoirs. Le travail peut comprendre l'installation de revêtements de sol, de panneaux muraux, de plaques tournantes, de plates-formes et d'autres matériaux d'affichage.

Compétences requises :
TIS recherche des candidats qui sont à l'aise pour travailler de leurs mains et qui ont une certaine expérience du travail avec des outils. Expérience en menuiserie, construction ou assemblage de base, expérience en rénovation, mécanique ou bricoleur général, etc. Ce qui est requis, c'est une bonne éthique de travail et la capacité de travailler 12 heures par jour.

Rémunération : Le salaire commence à 20,00 $ de l'heure avec des heures supplémentaires payées quotidiennement après 8,5 heures ou toute la journée le samedi et le dimanche. Les heures supplémentaires sont calculées à 1,5 fois le salaire de base (30,00 $ par heure)

Dates de travail : L'installation du salon de l'auto commence du 12 au 20 janvier 2022 et le démontage va du 31 janvier au 2 février 2022.

TIS Show Services, in business since 1978, is recruiting to add to our team of Trade Show Installers to work at the Montreal International Auto Show install and dismantle. Install starts on January 12 and runs to January 20th. The dismantle runs from January 30 - Feb 1st. We are looking for General Handy Persons, renovators, people with carpentry or mechanical skills to join our team of experienced show installers. Tis has a minimum of 15 positions available. We are open for candidates that would like to work only at the Auto Show but also have availability for those candidates that enjoy the work and would like to continue with TIS Show Services for the regular show season schedule.

TIS Show Services, in business since 1978, is currenlty recruiting toadd to our team of Trade Show installers to assemble displays at the Montreal International Autoshow. All work will take place at the Montreal Palais Congres. We are looking for candiates who have experience as general handymen, renovation skills, constructions skills or general knowledge of working with tools. All work is supervisoed and no experience is required.
The install will take place from January 12 to January 20 then the dismantle is from January 31 to Feb. 2nd.

TIS Show Services, is currently looking to add 12 General Handymen to our team of Tradeshow and retail display installers. TIS Show services provides installation services to all the trade and commercial shows and events in the greater Montreal area as well as retail display installations in local stores and malls. Selected candidates would work "on call" based on availability and report to show venues to install or dismantle specific displays or complete shows. We are looking for individuals who have the following skills:

Basic construction

Basic renovations

General handyman tasks

Comfortable working with tools.

Good problem solving

Individuals who like to work at different venues on a regular basis.

All training will be provided.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Selected candidates will be offered opportunities to work on projects around the greater Montreal area.

Location:

Work locations include Palais Des Congres, Olympic Stadium, Montreal area hotels as well as local malls an stores.

Working schedule: Based on weekly projects

Day shifts

Evening shifts

Night Shifts
Weekend shifts
