EarthlyMusing; Ça va bien aller... the little phrase that’s become an anthem for hope. A little ray of light that’s lifted us up and kept us connected. These days we’ve felt a bit like we’ve been desperately waiting for a sign. A sign that tells us to keep going. A sign that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Some days we search high and low for it and it doesn’t always show up for us. But today, she was there... a not so little sign reminding us that ça va bien aller 🌈

Gave birth to our first “start to finish” brand yesterday, welcome to the world ✨ Working with the owners of Empire has been one of the most amazing and inspiring experiences. From one side building the brand, visual identity, and content creation was eye opening and energizing but on top of that working with a family run business gave us a little something extra to get inspired by. Pinar & Edward moved to Montreal years ago from Turkey and brought their intricate craft with them. The classic immigrant story gave us a sense of connection to this project. As we got to work with their daughter and nephew and learn more about their family it confirmed our firm belief that business IS in fact personal. People work with people they like. That’s fact.
We’re so happy to have been not only a part of launching their new business endeavour but also welcomed into the family! What a way to start the week!

Walking out of the last few weeks of summer, let the SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) begin... real talk though this is a piece of content we shot last year around this time for - it was one of our first fashion editorial shoots and we ❤️ed it. Working with the many hands on set and squeezing in your time between photo and video was no easy task but you gotta do what you gotta do ya know. Anyone else dealt with the struggle of capturing video and photo in the same shoot? How does one organize that time?
