At the time of his death in 1968, Clark, a Scotsman, had more Grand Prix wins and pole positions than any other driver. In 2024, Motor Sport Magazine ranked Clark as the greatest racing driver of all time.

Robin Lee Graham set the record as the youngest person to sail solo around the world on his 23 foot yacht, Dove. He was 16 when he embarked on the 5 year solo voyage from California to circumnavigate the globe. His cat kept him company, before he found his future wife in South Africa.
