MTL Tech Bootcamp will be hosting weekly on-site bootcamp sessions for individuals seeking to learn different stages of programming and design. You’ll quickly start coding and learn how to build a website from zero to a hundred. It’s a set of on-site crash courses designed to teach you how to code. Rather than intensive 8 or 9 week long bootcamps, we’ll be hosting weekly 4-hour individual bootcamp
sessions for a 6-8 person crowd focused on hands-on learning. Who should attend? Whether you’re a student, a recent graduate, an entrepreneur, or just someone looking to learn how to code, these crash courses are made for you! Why should I learn how to code? Just graduated? Starting your own business? Want to learn a new skill? Simply put, coding or programming literacy will help you be far more effective in many parts of life. Who will be teaching me how to code? MTL Tech Bootcamp mentors are developers, hackers, and founders from Montreal's innovative startup community. These experienced teachers will help you code more efficiently and effectively. What do I get out of it? You get a cheat sheet on how to create beautiful sites quickly, in just a matter of hours. Not only that, but you will leave with a valuable skill that you can apply right away. Should I attend a coding crash course or learn on my own? Learning on your own can be time consuming and demotivating, but attending a crash course will get you straight to the essentials of coding. Do I need prior knowledge to attend this course? For our first beginner course, you don’t need prior knowledge to attend the course. However, for the advanced crash course, a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary to attend.
