On reconnaît nos couleurs lorsqu'elles nous mettent en valeur, illuminent notre teint, et font pétiller nos yeux... Pour Théodora c'est bien évident que l'automne véritable est parfait sur elle. 💖

Deep lagoon green, purple indigo, maritime blue, purple maroon; gorgeous rarely seen low chroma and low luminosity colours that make sense with a Cocory Summer Whitish (one of the lowest chroma palettes of the CCCS system). Whereas others need light spring colors for their skin to glow, these deep ones make Carice shine!

She is a full time Cocory Color analyst in Calgary .colour and had NEVER had her classic color analysis yet! She has no idea what the palettes even looked like. This was fun. 🥰

Hue Are You's Carice came from Calgary for a hangout and a first selfie of the two of us. She's the sweetest and brought me some lovely things from her studio too! Together were on a mission to figure out the relationship between Western classic seasons and the KCCS 12 and 16 palettes! 🥰 She's never had a classic analysis before!! 🙃

Of what we know there are only two formally certified Cocory Color Curators in Canada. The most patented color analysis school of Korea, Cocory allows our Asian clients to embrace much more than their colorful often winter or autumn palettes. If I am wearing this yellow and lilac today it's because Cocory has taught me the best way to do it! Their tonal system is specifically elaborated for those who want to identify their best colors based on chroma and luminosity more than temperature, which gives a wider idea of what suits you better and why. If you think that because you're a winter you can't wear pastels, that's not true. It gives me the ability to adapt my consultations entirely to your needs not just around the color analysis regular algorithm!

Plusieurs de mes clientes se trouvent dans une phase de la vie durant laquelle elles ont envie de passer à quelque chose de nouveau, prendre soin d'elles-mêmes, et savoir ce qui leur sublime le plus naturellement afin que la transition devienne plus douce, simple et agréable.

J'ai vraiment oublié dans les dernières années de prendre soin de moi-même étant maman de trois jeunes enfants. Moi aussi, j'apprends! Ça fait du bien d'avoir trouvé, en la colorimétrie, une façon pas trop compliquée de le faire. Et c'est rassurant de savoir que désormais les pièces que je sors de ma garde-robe ne me rendront pas l'air encore plus fatiguée que je ne le suis déjà 🤣

J'ai porte ma première pièce rouge depuis plus de 20 ans! Ça m'a pris huit mois après ma propre colorimétrie avant de l'oser... Mais je suis contente de l'avoir fait!

I meet a lot of clients who are moving on to a new phase of their life where they want to take care of themselves and know what flatters them most naturally to do it with more ease and peace of mind.

Being a mom of three young kids has made self-care such an alien concept to me that it feels good to rediscover how to practice it in a different way by learning how to embrace my palette. It's also reassuring to know that whatever I will pick out of my wardrobe won't make me look even more tired than I already am! 🤣

Autumn was too deep, spring was too light, but warm autumn was perfect. Just a touch of toasty to harmonize with that lovely deeper hair, but luminous enough for her clear white reflective skin. The colors feel brighter and lovely on her, especially those greens which bring out her eyes. She loved every single color of my self-made warm autumn drapes. That's when I know my diagnosis was the right one 🙌

Comprenant désormais sa palette parfaite, ma cliente de lundi affrontera le défi de faire le tri de sa garde robe avec beaucoup plus de clarté d'esprit. Elle pourra faire des choix avec plus d'assurance, comprenant bien mieux pourquoi elle ne porte plus beaucoup de pièces qui dorment dans sa garde-robe depuis des années! Color analysis is so cool in that it makes a true difference long term for my clients. My Monday client understands her palette so well now that that she will finally be able to face the huge task of trimming down her wardrobe significantly, with much more clarity. She'll be able to be more confident when she makes her choices, understanding why some pieces have been sleeping forever in her wardrobe and just now need to go. La palette de l'été frais: des couleurs fraîches, plus douces et moins intenses que celles de l'hiver mais gardant néanmoins une saturation et une belle vivacité. Ces teintes s'harmonisaient le mieux avec sa palette naturelle et son teint rose. La belle Zoé a été si patiente, cela faisait plusieurs mois qu'elle attendait sa consultation, mais elle m'a dit que ça en avait valu la peine. Aimant particulièrement les bruns nous avons bien pris le temps de regarder les caractéristiques de ses meilleures bruns et taupe et elle prendra le temps d'apprivoiser sa palette même si elle ne s'y attendait pas tout à fait, car nous nous sommes assurés que c'était bel et bien cela! Bon magasinage belle Zoé et merci d'être venue de loin me voir 💓

Je suis excitée de vous partager les photos de la Soiree Pigmentée de à laquelle j'ai eu l'honneur d'être invitée jeudi soir dernier! Mission, faire vivre une expérience colorée a leurs 300 invités lors du lancement de leur toute nouvelle collection de mobilier professionnel dont la palette a été renouvelée en toute beauté et modernité.. Quel plaisir de rencontrer une aussi belle communauté comblée de gens passionnés par le design, l'architecture et la couleur! Excited to share with you some photos of the corporate evening that the awesome Quebec based Artopex company organized for their launch of their new furniture collection last Thursday, to which I was invited to! ❤️ My mission was to offer a fun color experience to their guests during an evening for which the theme was "Pigments", their latest and most modern collection yet being launched in their most colorful palette to date. . Ma perle d'amie est venue me voir enfin de Gatineau, une amie de mes études en médecine qui soutient mon aventure depuis le tout début, que ce soit lorsque je débattais aller dans une spécialité médicale ou pas, ou maintenant alors que je découvre l'entrepreneuriat avec Ecru. Une deuxième "automne doux" en deux jours, pourtant avec une colorimétrie complètement différente. Comme elle est radieuse dans ses meilleures teintes! Je me donne comme mission de rendre l'expérience la plus inclusive possible; pour l'occasion j'avais cherché plein de teintes plus foncées pour ma collection et je crois qu'elle est d'accord que le défi est relevé: nous avons trouvé plus de cinq teintes de rouge parfaites pour elle. Elle se marie dans trois mois et a maintenant une belle idée de la palette qu'elle voudra porter. Tu es radieuse ma chérie et je suis trop heureuse d'avoir pu avoir un catchup avec toi 💓

My precious friend came to see me from Gatineau. I've known her since medical school and she's supported me from the start, whether it was when I was struggling to find out whether I would go into a specialty, or now as I am living this wild Ecru adventure. She's my second muted autumn in two days yet has such a different coloring than last Friday's client! Yet wow. How she glows in her neutral muted colours. She might lean slightly warm yet any colors with soft pink or lavender undertones were stunning. I got ready for her consult looking for the best makeup candidates in order to ensure to offer her the most inclusive experience and I think I delivered — she found five amazing lipstick colours and perfect blushes. You're gorgeous inside and out my friend. So grateful I had a privileged catchup moment with you. 💓
