The Suncatch Sounds logo was created for Morden's annual summer concert series, bringing free live music, food trucks and cold beverages to the heart of downtown at the Suncatch Plaza.

The logo combines a stylized sun and a musical note, capturing the spirit of warm summer evenings, live entertainment, and community connection.

There’s something special about bringing a piece of local history to life through design.

The Manitou Opera House, located in Manitou, Manitoba, dates back to 1900 and has long been a cornerstone of the community. Originally built as a multi-purpose gathering space, it hosted everything from theatrical performances and concerts to community events and meetings. Over time, it has remained a symbol of culture, connection, and heritage in the region.

When I had the opportunity to design their logo, the goal was to honour that history while creating something clean, modern, and versatile.

The final concept uses negative space to subtly reveal the structure of the Opera House within a bold, simplified silhouette—capturing both its architectural character and lasting presence.

Designing for a community landmark means balancing respect for the past with a vision for the future. Grateful to the Manitou Opera House Foundation for the opportunity.

Morden Family Resource Centre needed significant help with their web presence, from a brand-new website for their programming to improving how easily they can be found on Google. Being located in the basement of a church made it especially challenging for people to know where to find them. 📍

The new website included a user-friendly CMS with a registration system for their programming that can be easily managed by their staff, and also runs on green Canadian hosting services. 🌱

For this project, the RM of Lakeshore required a new visual identity that captured its natural scenery. 🌲☀️

I designed a clean, versatile logo that brings together essential local elements like trees, a golden sun, and of course, Dauphin Lake into one simple and recognizable symbol. The logomark is now used across all of the RM's official communications, creating a consistent and professional image for the municipality.
