New Logo Design!

Proud to showcase this logo design for Aspengrove School’s new Dance Studio.

The Aspengrove team came to me with a clear vision: create a logo that captured movement and flow while still feeling modern, clean, and refined. It was important that the design remained versatile — strong enough to stand out on team apparel while also translating beautifully across print and marketing materials.

This was such a fun project to be part of. I always love collaborating with the Aspengrove team and helping bring their exciting ideas to life!

Presenting the Alair Portfolio Book…

Built for this piece was created to showcase a collection of work curated by the Alair Brand & Marketing team (all very proudly designed by me) for various Alair offices across North America. I just love working with the Alair team!

Printed by .image in Nanaimo… thank you for your attention to detail and turnaround time in getting this done for conference.

PRINT SPECS:
Classic Crest 130lb double thick Epic Black cardstock for the cover with clear spot varnish of the Alair icon on the outside and inside of the cover.
Inside pages were printed digitally on 100lb silk text stock for a smooth finish with a silver metallic toner applied to the Alair logo and text on the title page.
Perfect bound for a beautiful finish.

That’s a wrap! was such a great experience! It was such a pleasure to be a part of this from developing all the design work, to assisting the marketing team throughout the week in setups, to hearing inspirational stories and words of advice from the presenters, and finally to watch those receiving awards for their hard work and dedication to their businesses, communities and . Wrapping up with the Alair’s Got Talent… WOW!!!

Timeless Design…

While going through some old packed-away items, I came across a 1964 Vancouver Sun publication celebrating the Queen’s visit to Canada.

Inside were several vintage ads promoting various businesses and products. I picked a few to share because they tell a clear story about timeless design—honestly, many of them could still work today! Some of the content is unintentionally hilarious (like the ad praising sugar as a great energy booster), but one thing unites them all: SPACE.

Good, clean design uses SPACE— From the 1960s to 2025… proven for decades!

SPACE is timeless.
SPACE gives the eye room to rest.
SPACE helps your message land clearly.

I love seeing how great design stands the test of time.

Proud to showcase this logo design for Blue Heron Speech.

This client came to me with a clear vision in mind for her business. As I find in most things in life, and especially in design… simple is more! The desire was to create something light, friendly and approachable, all with a bit of a beachy feel in mind. This icon is a hand-drawn, custom rendered, line art creation of one continuous line to allow a nice flowing feeling in this design.

Another fun project that allowed the freedom to step away from traditional design opening the doors to custom art creation for a unique timeless design.
