We are searching for a highly skilled technician to install, maintain, and repair a variety of Ricoh and Toshiba Multi-function printers. In this role, you will be required to set up new systems, perform routine maintenance, manage your service calls, and resolve technical issues. You should be able to accurately diagnose faulty equipment and implement effective repairs.

To ensure success as an Office Equipment Technician, you should have in-depth knowledge of copier and printer technologies, effective analytical thinking abilities, and excellent internal & external customer skills.

Technician Responsibilities:

- Setting up and installing new printers, copiers, scanners, and copier software.
- Providing routine maintenance to copiers, scanners, printers, and fax machines.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning cartridges, printers, and copiers.
- Interpreting diagnostic reports and service documentation.
- Providing demonstrations and customer training.
- Managing car stock, parts, and materials.
- Providing outstanding customer support and service.
- Managing schedules and customer emergencies.
- Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and practices in the industry.
- Consistently achieving productivity goals.

Technician Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- At least two years' experience as a copier technician.
- Thorough knowledge of copier and printer technology.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of computer and copier management
- Strong customer service skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work unscheduled hours or attend to client emergencies after hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Comox Valley - Parksville, BC

Salary: From $40,000.00 per year
